The UK’s future workforce is taking shape today. A mix of academic and practical training ensures that T Level graduates step out with the confidence, skills and connections needed to succeed.

With T Levels, young people can access hands-on education that puts them on the fast track to high-quality careers. These two-year courses combine 80% classroom learning with 20% real-world experience through meaningful industry placements of at least 45 days.

T Level opportunities in new fields

This year, we’ve expanded T Level options to include exciting fields like Media, Broadcast and Production; Craft and Design; and Animal Care. These additions mean more pathways into creative and dynamic industries actively seeking fresh talent. Whether students are diving into digital, healthcare, construction, or engineering, T Levels set them up with the experience and insight that employers value most.

Specialised skills for high-demand careers

Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs) offer an advanced pathway. Designed with industry input, HTQs prepare students for well-paid, impactful roles in areas like engineering, business and health. Together, T Levels and HTQs create a cohesive path from foundational skills to specialised qualifications, meeting the needs of employers and the economy.

Education for a future-ready workforce

The future of education is here, bringing a powerful alternative to traditional academic routes. T Levels and HTQs don’t just prepare students; they prepare leaders for the fields shaping tomorrow’s world. By offering real choices and a clear route to in-demand careers, we’re building a resilient, skilled workforce ready to power the UK forward.

Pathways to progression

T Level graduates are already making their mark, moving directly into degree apprenticeships with leading names like Lloyds Banking Group, Santander and several NHS trusts, as well as family-owned companies such as Gallagher Construction and Wareing Buildings. For those choosing higher education, T Levels are proving a strong foundation — 83% of T Level students who applied to higher education in the 2024 admissions cycle secured a place. With T Levels, students are set up for success, whether they’re entering the workforce, advancing their studies or both.
